Ecoworks was established on World Environment Day, June 5, 2001 as an off-shoot from our sister business, Arcania, in response to the demand for a clean-energy design service, and also to help promote the generation of clean energy from renewable sources whilst fulfilling most of the power requirements of our working environment.

This has enabled us to offer our graphic design services for printed literature and internet websites to the public using 100% off-grid clean, renewable energy since that date. In the following years we have dedicated much of our earnings to establish further renewable energy sources of power, giving us considerable experience of working with renewable systems in both design and installation.

We are a rural business and part of a growing minority which realises that there is power right on our doorsteps through the implementation of small-scale, locally-based, renewable energy systems.

Over the years our services have been used by many local and national businesses and organisations, large and small, who were appreciative of the options we offer or simply because they like our high quality work and skill.

Here at Ecoworks we:
		carry out all design work using 100% off-grid renewable energy
		produce innovative and creative design work for printed literature and websites
		provide first-rate printed output on quality recycled paper and board or PDF files for you to print yourself
		design and install our own off-grid renewable energy systems
		support and develop locally-based technologies
		have an active tree planting programme
		support the local economy wherever possible
		support rural redevelopment initiatives
		pursue an active study of weather patterns
		actively support and develop alternatives for a more sustainable future
		actively promote the use of Open Source technologies
